The Department of Urban Design & Planning at Seoul National University is pleased to host the 72nd Sustainable Transportation and Logistics Colloquium on April 25.

This session will feature a presentation by Dr. Soyoung Lee from the Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI). As you may know, the GTX (Great Train Express) lines range from A to F. The southern section of GTX Line A opened on March 30, 2024, followed by the northern section scheduled to open on December 28, 2024—both attracting significant public attention. Meanwhile, GTX Lines B and C have either completed preliminary feasibility studies or are under construction.

Given Dr. Lee’s expertise in diverse railway technologies and systems at KRRI, she will introduce key issues related to the GTX network. In particular, her talk will focus on digital technologies for evaluating transfer accessibility in metropolitan express railway systems.

The SNU Graduate School of Environmental Studies’ Sustainable Transportation and Logistics Colloquium is open not only to SNU students, faculty, and staff but also to anyone interested in the topic.
